Connectivity and Power Supply

Zivid cameras connect to power and to your computer via two M12 connectors: a power connector and an Ethernet connector.

Connectors

Zivid cameras have a power connector and an Ethernet connector: Zivid 3, Zivid 2+, or Zivid 2.

Power supply interface

경고

Power supplies or cables that do not meet the specified requirements can damage the camera and void the warranty, particularly when using third-party or custom solutions. See Power Supply and Cables for more information.

Connecting to the computer

To connect the camera, plug in power first, then the Ethernet cable to your computer.

  1. Plug the power supply into the camera’s power connector (“24V”).

Ensure that all connections are screwed in tightly. The coupling nut of the M12 screw connectors can in some cases be hard to screw in. However, when installed correctly they provide a reliable connection.

Zivid 카메라는 물리적으로 전원을 차단하는 써미스터에 의해 역극성과 과열로부터 보호됩니다.

The Zivid camera uses Ethernet communication and needs 10 Gbps for best performance. Not all computers have a port for 10 Gigabit Ethernet. In that case, you can connect to it using an adaptor for 10GBASE-T (10 Gbps copper Ethernet) to Thunderbolt 3. At a reduced performance you can also use 1000BASE-T and NBASE-T (1 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, and 5 Gbps over copper) to USB adapters.

조심

USB 기반 네트워크 어댑터는 캡처 속도가 감소하고 가변적이어서 카메라를 사용할 때 가끔 오류가 발생할 수 있습니다. 최적의 성능을 위해 10Gb PCI Express 카드를 사용하는 것이 좋습니다.
